For urgent same-day requests, contact us immediately by phone (+44 7401 447048) or WhatsApp (+44 7300 354430) — do not use the online form for same-day journeys as response time via the form may not be fast enough. Same-day bookings require full payment at the time of confirmation. We will confirm availability and a driver within the shortest possible time, typically within 30–60 minutes during operational hours.
Yes. Busways operates 24/7, 365 days a year — including Bank Holidays, Christmas Day, and New Year. Early morning airport departures (3:00–4:00am pickups are common), late-night event returns, and overnight long-distance arrivals are all accommodated. Our WhatsApp line and phone support are available around the clock. For bookings outside standard office hours, WhatsApp is the fastest way to reach us. Pre-booking is always recommended for unsocial hours to guarantee driver availability.

For long-distance point-to-point transfers — London to Edinburgh, Birmingham to Glasgow, or any other cross-country route — we provide all-inclusive coach and minibus hire with experienced drivers for the full journey.
Yes. Multiple pickup points are available on all booking types — airport transfers, corporate runs, wedding guest collections, school trips, and private hire. Provide the full list of addresses and your preferred pickup order when submitting your booking details. Our drivers pre-plan the most efficient collection route so that all passengers are collected on schedule. There is no additional charge for multiple stops within a reasonable collection radius — for pickups that are significantly out of route, a small additional charge may apply, which is confirmed before you book.
For standard journeys with flexible dates, booking 48 hours ahead is usually sufficient. However, for the best vehicle selection and guaranteed availability, we recommend the following lead times: Airport transfers — at least 48–72 hours. Weddings — 2 to 3 months minimum. School and college trips — 4 to 6 weeks. Large events (concerts, festivals, sports fixtures) — 3 to 4 weeks. Peak periods (school holidays, Bank Holidays, Christmas, summer, Edinburgh Festival August) — as far in advance as possible. Last-minute and same-day bookings are accepted subject to availability — contact us directly by phone or WhatsApp for the fastest response.
Busways provides airport transfer minibus and coach hire to and from all major UK airports: London Heathrow (Terminals 1–5), London Gatwick (North & South), London Stansted, London City Airport, London Luton, Manchester Airport (Terminals 1–3), Birmingham Airport, Edinburgh Airport, Glasgow Airport, and Bristol Airport. If your airport is not listed, contact us — we cover all regional UK airports and can quote for less common routes. For international departures at Heathrow, we specify the terminal when booking to ensure your driver is at the correct collection point.
Flight delays are fully managed by Busways at no additional charge. We track every flight from departure, and if your inbound flight is delayed, we automatically adjust your driver’s arrival time so they are at the airport when you land — not before. If your flight is cancelled more than 7 days before travel, you are entitled to a full deposit refund. If your flight is cancelled within 7 days of travel, the booking becomes non-refundable under our standard cancellation terms. We recommend comprehensive travel insurance for all bookings involving flights, which typically covers transport costs in the event of airline cancellation.
Once you submit your booking details — pickup address, flight number, airport terminal, date, and passenger count — we confirm your driver and vehicle in advance. For departures, your driver arrives at the agreed pickup address at the scheduled time to allow comfortable travel to the terminal. For arrivals, we monitor your flight in real time from departure. Your driver will be at the arrivals gate with a name board when you exit — no need to call or message us. ULEZ and Congestion Zone charges are included in your all-inclusive airport transfer quote. There are no day-of surprises.
Yes. All Busways vehicles are fitted with GPS tracking systems. This enables our operations team to monitor vehicle location and journey progress in real time — particularly useful for managing airport transfer timing, multi-vehicle event logistics, and school trip safety confirmation. GPS tracking also allows us to provide accurate live ETAs to waiting passengers and to respond quickly to any route changes or unexpected delays.
No. Alcohol consumption is not permitted on any Busways vehicle at any time, regardless of the journey type — including private hire, events, and evening social bookings. This policy exists to protect the safety and comfort of all passengers and to comply with UK road safety regulations. Non-alcoholic beverages in sealed containers are permitted at the driver’s discretion. Passengers who are visibly intoxicated at the time of boarding may be refused travel at the driver’s judgement.
Yes. Every Busways driver holds a valid UK Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) licence appropriate for the vehicle they drive, is DBS-checked (criminal records cleared to the enhanced disclosure level), and carries professional driver ID at all times. Drivers working school and educational bookings hold enhanced DBS clearance. On request, we can provide driver DBS documentation and vehicle insurance certificates for organisations with safeguarding or compliance requirements — commonly requested by schools and corporate event organisers.
Busways does not provide child car seats, and passengers should not bring their own. Under current UK legislation, children travelling in minibuses or coaches for hire are not required by law to use child seats — they may use the adult seat belts provided. All Busways vehicles are fitted with seat belts on every seat. If you are travelling with young children and have questions about their specific seating arrangement, contact us before booking.

Yes. All Busways vehicles are fitted with full air conditioning, comfortable reclining or padded seating, and adequate luggage storage. Vehicles used for long-distance and touring journeys are specifically selected from our fleet for passenger comfort over extended travel times. USB charging points are available on most vehicles — confirm at the time of booking if this is a requirement. All vehicles are professionally cleaned and serviced before each booking.
Choose a vehicle one size larger than your passenger count to allow comfortable space for luggage. As a guide: 8-seater MPV for up to 7 passengers with 7 bags; 12-seater minibus for up to 11 passengers with 11 bags; 16-seater for up to 15 passengers — the most popular choice for mid-sized groups; 24-seater for up to 23 passengers; 30-seater midicoach for up to 29; 50-seater full-size coach for up to 50 passengers. If your group has oversized luggage — golf bags, ski equipment, pushchairs, or instrument cases — please mention this when booking so we can recommend the right vehicle.
Busways accepts bank transfer (BACS), debit card, and credit card payments. Payment details are provided with your booking confirmation. For corporate accounts with regular travel requirements, invoice-based payment terms can be arranged. All payments are processed securely. We do not store card details after payment is completed.
Cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled journey date will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations within 7 days of travel are non-refundable. If your journey is cancelled due to a flight cancellation, we recommend claiming the cost through your travel insurance provider, as airline disruption is outside our operational control. For modifications to bookings — date changes, pickup location amendments, or group size adjustments — please contact us as early as possible and we will accommodate changes subject to vehicle availability.
Yes. A deposit is required to secure your booking date and vehicle. The deposit amount varies depending on the journey type and total value. For standard bookings, a deposit of 20–30% of the total fare is required at the time of confirmation. The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before your travel date. For bookings placed within 7 days of travel, full payment is required at the time of booking. Contact us for specific deposit terms on your booking.
Yes, always. Every Busways vehicle comes with a professional, fully licensed, DBS-checked driver included in the price. Busways does not offer self-drive hire. The driver’s time, wages, and all associated costs are factored into your all-inclusive quote — you will never receive a separate invoice for driver charges after your journey.
Minibus hire in the UK is priced based on vehicle size, journey distance, and duration. As a guide, an 8-seater MPV for a short airport transfer starts from approximately £90–£140. A 16-seater for a full day’s hire typically ranges from £350–£600. A 50-seater coach for a long-distance tour starts from £650 upwards. All Busways quotes are fully all-inclusive — covering the driver, fuel, road tolls, Congestion Zone and ULEZ charges where applicable, and comprehensive passenger insurance.
