Non-Refundable Deposit
To secure your booking, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of reservation.
- This deposit guarantees your vehicle and driver allocation.
- In the rare event that Busways Ltd is unable to fulfil your journey, a full refund will be issued, including the deposit.
Cancellation Charges
Should you need to cancel your booking, the following charges will apply based on the notice period:
- More than 25 days before the journey: 25% of the total booking cost
- 14–25 days before the journey: 30% of the total booking cost
- 7–14 days before the journey: 50% of the total booking cost
- 48 hours – 7 days before the journey: 75% of the total booking cost
- Less than 48 hours before the journey: 100% of the total booking cost
No Refund After Journey Begins
Once passengers have boarded the vehicle, the service is considered fully delivered, and no refunds will be issued for any part of the journey.
Cancellation of Additional Services
If your booking includes third-party services such as:
- Accommodation
- Meals
- Ferry crossings
…and these providers apply cancellation fees, those charges will be passed on to the Hirer in addition to Busways Ltd’s standard cancellation fees.
Refund Timeline
Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving your cancellation request, minus any applicable deductions based on the terms outlined above.
No-Show Policy
If the passenger fails to appear at the agreed pick-up location and time without prior notice, the booking will be treated as a No-Show, and the full booking amount will be charged.
A “No-Show” includes:
- Incorrect pick-up date or time provided at the time of booking
- No contact made with Busways Ltd or the driver within one hour of the scheduled pick-up
Changes to Pick-Up Time
If you wish to change your pick-up time after the booking has been confirmed:
- Additional charges may apply depending on availability and operational impact
- We strongly recommend notifying us as early as possible to avoid disruption and extra costs
